Circleville's Lady Tigers showed why they are the state's top Division 2 girls basketball team, as they blew past Washington Court House 65-31, Wednesday.

(18-0) Circleville roared to a 15-0 start and were up 17-2 after one quarter. That lead increased to 37-7 at halftime, then 55-18 after three and the final of 65-31.

The (8-9) Lady Blue Lions are very young this season, and were unable to get untracked against the much larger and experienced Circleville.

Circleville was led by 6'0 post-player Kenzie McConnell with 12 points, followed by Megan Davis with 11. Jeleeya Smith led Washington CH with 11 points.

The Lady Tigers shot 23/43 from the floor for 53%- including 4/9 from behind the arc. They did well at the foul line, shooting 15/16. While those numbers looked good, Circleville did commit 16 turnovers.

Washington shot a chilly 11/38 for only 29%- including 3/12 from the arc. They added 6/12 from the charity stripe and committed 19 turnovers.
