Don't Blame The Turkey For Making You Tired

According to a new study, you can’t blame turkey for your Thanksgiving food coma anymore. For years, you’ve been told that turkey contains the amino acid L-Tryptophan (TRIP-toe-fan), which conks you out and makes you want to sleep. Well, researchers have found that you don’t get tired after your Thanksgiving meal because of this chemical. Instead, it’s simply because you’re eating and drinking too much -- and your body is overworking to digest all the food you chowed down on. (The Takeout)
