Somebody’s watching you … A hotel in Japan is offering a guest room for 100 yen – that’s 92 cents -- per night. The catch? Anyone staying in room number 8 must agree to a 24-hour live stream of their stay on the hotel’s youtube channel. This great "deal" offered by the Business Ryokan Asahi in Fukuoka, Japan, is available year-round. (Insider)
Speaking of hotel rooms …You can now celebrate the season like Buddy the Elf – in a new Elf-inspired hotel suite. Starting December 2nd, guests can stay in a suite at Club Wyndam Midtown 45 in New York City that is filled with all things Elf. The suite's kitchen even comes fully stocked with plenty of treats from Buddy’s four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup. And there are even all the ingredients for Buddy the Elf’s signature dish -- spaghetti with maple syrup. You can start booking on November 25th for stays from December 2nd through the 22nd.
