"The southern gospel music group, Soul Purpose, returns to the stage at Rose Ave Community Center Friday, September 13, at 7:00 P.M. Soul Purpose has been ministering God's Word through Southern Gospel Music since 1972. From their home town of Grove City, Soul Purpose has carried the Gospel throughout Ohio and surrounding states to churches, conventions and art festivals including the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Ky., the Ohio State Convention of Baptists, and the Northern Gospel Singing Convention.Members of the group are honored to have been commissioned by the Governor and the Secretary of State of Kentucky as "Kentucky Colonels" and were honorably recognized by Ohio House Representative Cheryl Grossman, Ohio Congressman Steve Stivers and Ohio Speaker of the House William Batchelder for their dedication to the Ministry of Christ and gospel music in the communities they serve. With over 40 years’ experience in Gospel music, they know how to get a crowd excited about Jesus Christ and bring them to a time of worship and reflection and see the lost come to saving faith in Jesus Christ!Soul Purposeoffers a “one-of-a-kind” traditional southern gospel sound that awakens the spirit and excites the soul. It doesn’t take long to realize this group LOVES the Lord. The name“Soul Purpose”just seems to be the perfect fit as they proclaim, “Your Soul is our Purpose!” From beginning to end, their program conveys the joy and excitement of having a relationship with Jesus.
Gospel Music Family Fridays is an outreach of Rose Ave Community Center & Church presented every Friday at 7:00 P.M., doors open at 6:30 P.M. Bringing different local, regional and national singers, song writers, musical groups and recording artists to the stage each week, all for the glory of God, we offer free admission, free food & drinks, and free shuttle service, in town. To help support this ministry, a free-will offering will be received. Rose Ave Community Center is located at 412 Rose Ave., in WCH. For transportation please call the office at 740-636-ROSE(7673) before 5:00 P.M. Fridays.Join us every Saturday at 5:00 P.M. for a free community meal & contemporary worship service in a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere. Featuring an upbeat & relevant, Bible-based message from Pastor Justin, doors open at 4:30 PM. Free transportation is also available for this event by calling the office before 3:00 P.M. Saturdays. Regular office hours are Monday-Friday 2:00-5:00 P.M.
