Madison Corrections Employee Charged for Threats Against Prison Guards

(24/7 News) -- Officials say a mailroom employee at the Madison County Correctional Institution has quit following comments he made about a hit-list with co-workers names on it.

Chace Dobbs of Springfield resigned from the facility yesterday and was then arrested on misdemeanor charges of aggravated menacing.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says it recovered two loaded pistols from Dobbs' vehicle and he admitted to threatening to shoot corrections officers at the prison.

Police say Dobbs will be arraigned on Friday and they are continuing their investigation.
