Madison County Man Pleads Not Guilty in Fire Deaths of His Family

(24/7 News) -- A Madison County man is pleading not guilty to murder charges in connection to the arson deaths of his family in 2008.

Bond for Peter Romans was set at four-million dollars Thursday following his plea of not guilty.

Romans is accused of setting a fire which killed his wife and two children and could be facing the death penalty if convicted.

Romans claims the fire was caused by faulty wiring in his Ford Expedition and has sued the Ford Motor Company over his allegations.
