Domestic Dispute in Madison County Leaves Three Dead

Police in Madison County say two women have been shot and killed at a home in London and the suspect has been found dead in his pickup truck.

Police identified the victims as Yaisa Cordero, 41, and her daughter Joceline Cordero, 25. The two were found shot to death outside the home in the driveway. Police say the suspect is the mother's ex-boyfriend. He was identified as 54-year old James Evans Jr. of London.

"It's not unusual to have domestic violence but it is unusual for our area that they go to this extreme," said London Police Chief Glenn Nicol.

Evans Jr. was found inside his car about three miles away with a self-inflicted gun shot.

"The vehicle was located by a passerby," said Chief Nicol.

According to witnesses, they told police there was some kind of disturbance that led to the shooting.
