Not many coaches in any high school sport can say they have been part of 300 career wins, but that is not the case for Unioto Baseball Coach Tony Taylor.

Taylor's Sherman's secured that milestone win for their coach Friday with a 4-3 win over Piketon, which also keeps Unioto unbeaten for the season. Unioto stands (3-0) in the SVC and (7-0) overall.

Tony Taylor has been leading the Shermans baseball program for almost two decades, winning five SVC titles in that stretch, along with a few district championships.

Unioto will likely challenge area Division 2 teams for a deep run into the post season, much like they did last year before eventually falling to State Final Four bound Circleville.
