Brooks & Dunn's Unpredictable Appeal Plus, Luke Combs #1 Again...

Brooks and Dunn won the ACM's Duo of the Year award an amazing 16 times before splitting up in 2010.

Kix says part of their magic was that he and Ronnie had such different personalities on stage that fans could never predict what was going to happen during a show.

KIx Brooks talks about all the duos in country music these days. OC:...you know. :10

"With Ronnie and I, I think it was just an ongoing awkwardness. It's like a NASCAR race. There's going to be a wreck, you're just not sure when it's going to happen, you know."

The guys are back together performing shows. Their new album, Reboot, is a collection of their hits sung with today's new artists. Look for it on April 5th.

Hot Takes:

  • Brooks and Dunn will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame later this year.
  • They've got a performance slot on the ACM Awards April 5th.
  • Back in the day, Kix would swing on a rope from the balcony to the stage at their shows.

LUKE COMBS: King of the Country Chart for Third Week

Luke Combs tops the Mediabase country chart for the third week in a row with "Beautiful Crazy."

Chris Stapleton's "Millionaire" stays in the second spot. Brett Young moves up one slot from four to three with "Here Tonight.". Riley Green's "There Was This Girl" drops from the third position to the fourth spot. And Michael Ray holds steady at five with "One That Got Away."
