Pavement, Slip Repair Project Scheduled For S.R. 772 in Pike County

A drilled shaft installation project will take place later this month on State Route 772 in Pike County, where a pavement slip has occurred at Idaho Hill.

Beginning Monday, February 25, crews from the district’s Lo-Drill team and the Pike County maintenance facility will be working to install a series of drilled shafts and make pavement repairs along the southbound lane of the route between Newland Ridge Road and S.R. 124.

Currently, traffic is being maintained in one lane with temporary signals, and the route will remain open to one, signalized lane during the project. However, motorists may encounter some temporary periods of delay when crews are work, and they are reminded to use additional caution through the work zone.

Weather permitting, all work associated with the project will be completed by the close of the work day on Friday, March 1.
