Two Woman Connected with the Rhoden Murders Plead Not Guilty

The two elder women arrested this week in connection with the murders of eight people in Pike County have each pleaded not guilty to charges of attempting to help cover up the murders.

Rita Newcomb and Fredericka Wagner appeared in court on Thursday.

Both Newcomb and Wagner were awarded bond. Wagner's bond is $100,000 with Newcomb's bond set at $50,000. Additionally, both Wagner and Newcomb have been placed under house arrest with electronic monitoring.
