We’ve all heard about the problems of spending too much time on social media, but what’s the “right” amount of time we should be spending on social media? According to a new study from the University of Pennsylvania, 30 minutes a day. The study found that when participants cut their their social media use to just 30 minutes per day, they experienced a “significant improvement in well-being,” felt less lonely and depressed, and had decreased levels of anxiety and FOMO [Fear of Missing Out].
