Judge Rules for One Trial in Fisher Sexual Assault Case

Ross County Common Pleas Judge Mike Ater has ruled that there will be one trial in the Jeff Fisher sexual assault case, denying a defense motion for two trials which would have focused on each of the two female students involved in the case.

A status conference for the case is still scheduled for November 14th the trial slated for November 27th.

Fisher's attorney is still seeking a change of venue, claiming "overwhelming prejudice" in pretrial publicity about the investigation that claims the former Chillicothe High School principal engaged in sexual activity with the two female high school students.
