The Jones' Ministers At RACC July 13

Please join us Friday, July 13, at 7:00 PM as “The Jones's” minister at Rose Ave Community Center. Based in Wheelersburg, OH, the group is comprised of Joy Jones, her two sons Derec and Ryan, and nephew Andy McGinnis, all of whom she is so proud & blessed to travel with as a family. Family harmony is like no other! Joy began singing at age four with her evangelistic family, the Bales Family. Travelling the United States, Canada, Haiti, Jamaica, and Mexico from her youth into young adulthood, in 1996 Joy joined New Journey as a featured vocalist on many songs, including the group's first top ten radio single. During this time, Joy and the group were blessed to be part of part of the Gaither Homecoming Concerts & videos, as well as numerous television appearances. In 1999, Joy was voted “Favorite Soprano of the Year” by the Kentucky Gospel Music Association. In 2001, Joy felt impressed by God to begin a solo ministry and she travelled nationally, releasing her first successful national solo single, “Do it Afraid”, as well as numerous appearances on Daystar Television Network. From a young age, Derec and Ryan have sung on stages across the nation in their travels with New Journey and with Joy in the solo ministry. As they grew, they started singing as a duet, “The Jones Boys”, recording two projects of their own and making appearances in many of “Moms” concerts and TV appearances. In 2013, God led Joy and the boys to “join forces” and form the family trio, “The Jones's”. Their Debut CD, “JONES” was released in 2014. Their first single release from that CD, “Come On, Come On”, broke into the Singing News Top 80 at number 58! They also performed on the National Quartet Convention Showcase and on Main Stage at 2014NQC! God is blessing and expanding their ministry to be able to reach more people for the Kingdom, filling them with a passion to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and an excitement within to see souls saved through Jesus, and they can’t wait to see where His Holy Spirit leads them next!
