The Highland County Republican Party is putting its support behind the DeWine Husted Campaign for Ohio Governor.
The Highland County party announced its endorsement of Ohio Attorney General, Mike DeWine's, bid for Governor on Wednesday.
"The Highland County Republican Party endorses Mike DeWine and Jon Husted for Governor and Lieutenant Governor," said Paulette Donley, Executive Chair of the Highland Co. GOP. "It made sense to support this conservative ticket in the primary so we can get down to the real task at hand--beating the progressive liberal Democrats in November."
Highland County joins Belmont, Columbiana, Franklin, Lucas, Morgan, Perry, Pike, Scioto and Summit County in endorsing Mike DeWine for Governor.
