Robert E. West

Robert West, 81 passed away peacefully at home on January 20, 2018. He was born July 23, 1936 to the late Gerald and Edith Zimmerman West in Washington C.H., Ohio. Robert was the co-owner and parts manager of Roney’s Auto Parts store, a member of The Good Hope Lions Club for over 30 years, and he worked for Washington City Schools for many years. His hobby and passion was working on cars.
In addition to his parents, Robert is proceeded in death by his son Robert West, brother Ronald West, and grandson Caden Schroeder.
Robert is survived by his wife Lois Perry West, two daughters Mary (Craig) Schroeder of Waxhaw NC, Lisa (Chris) Reeves of Washington C.H.; brother Charles “Ed” (Carol) West of Washington C.H., sisters Mary Ingram of Washington C.H., Wanda Hunter of Washington C.H., and Pam Kilgore of Springfield; grandchildren Carmedy (Dan Pratt) West, Jordan West, Logan Reeves, Andrew West, Brooklyn Reeves, Morgan Reeves, Bryden West, Addison Schroeder; numerousness nieces and nephews and many beloved friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Morrow Funeral Home in Washington C.H. with Rev. Ernest Perry, PhD. officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm. The Good Hope Lions Club will conduct a brief memorial service on Wednesday after visitation at 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice Care of Central Ohio.
