On Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Baltimore Ravens -- which put the Buffalo Bills into the playoffs for the first time since 1999, ending the longest playoff drought in professional American sports.
Bills fans, of course, celebrated -- and are probably still celebrating. You know … Partying like it’s 1999.
And now, plenty of Bills fans are showing their appreciation for the Bengals by donating big bucks to the charity founded by Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton and his wife, Jordan. He delivered that important victory -- and now Bills fans are delivering gobs of money to the Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation, which helps families of seriously ill and disabled children.
Dalton realized quickly what was happening and sent out a message of thanks on Twitter, expressing his appreciation for the support -- and encouraging those fans to continue donating. (Deadspin)
