Americans Feel Worse Off Today Than They Did 50 Years Ago

There are mixed feelings about getting to the end of this year.

The economy is improving, so many people had a good year. And yet, there are plenty of people who are limping to the finish line and hoping for a better 2018.

According to a new survey, for the most part, Americans feel worse off today than they did 50 years ago.

While residents of 20 countries, including India, Germany and Spain, said they were better off, the U.S. was among the other 18 countries in which people said they were actually worse off. (MarketWatch)
