The Hillsboro Police Department conducted a traffic stop Sunday morning in the 400 block of North West Street. During this traffic stop investigation, illegal narcotics were located in the vehicle.
A female identified as 26-year-old Teela K. Carrington of Wilmington, was arrested for an outstanding bench warrant and also is being charged with possession of drug abuse instruments.
A male subject identified as a 35-year-old Joseph Bolton Jr of Hamilton was cited for no operator’s license at the scene.
