Hillsboro Appoints New Chief of Police

The City of Hillsboro has a new Chief of Police. 

Darrin Goudy has 24 years law enforcement experience and served 17 years as an officer with the Police Department for the City of Union, Ohio. He served the Union PD with the rank of Lieutenant for the past fourteen years. 

Hillsboro Mayor, Drew Hastings, says Goudy is an avid obstacle course racer, wrestling coach, and lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. Goudy and his wife, Molly, have five children ranging in age from 13 to 28, and two grandchildren.

Goudy's appointment will be effective December 4th, 2017.
