Willis S. Salyer, 79 of Hillsboro passed away Sunday evening, November 5, 2017.
He is survived by his wife, Judith "Judy" (Fleming) Salyer, whom he married on September 30, 1961 in Jellico, TN. He is also survived by four children, Rhonda (Randy) Whicker of Blanchester, Renee (Robert) Cress of Leesburg, Denise (Monty) Schot and Mike (Randa) Salyer, both of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Stephanie (Ricky) Fey, Jeremy (Erin) Whicker, Preston Cress, Elizabeth (Steven) Herlinger, Heather Cress, Brandon (Catherine) Schott, Devin Schott and Makayla Salyer; seven great grandchildren, Rylin, Ryleigh, Hayden, Brandy, Paisley, Fey and Robbie; three step-grandchildren; a sister, Betty (Doyle) Roberts of Dayton; brother-in-law, Edward Pennington of Dayton, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2017 at the Goshen Church of God. Pastor Doug Walden will officiate, and will be assisted by Pastor Randy Halcomb and Bishop Jay Walden.
Burial: will follow in the Graceland Memorial Gardens
Visitation will be held Thursday evening November 9, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro and on Friday evening November 10, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Goshen Church of God, 1675 Hillstation Road, Goshen, Ohio 45122.
