Pole dancing could be on track to becoming an Olympic sport. The International Pole Sports Federation, which has been around since 2009, has been given "observer status" by the Global Association of International Sports Federation, which officially recognizes activities as a sport.
This move means the pole sports federation will soon be able to apply for the Olympics.
Pole dancing joins arm wrestling, dodgeball and foosball with this observer status. (Fox News)
