Herman H. Bullock, age 88, passed from this world on October 1, 2017. He was born October 2, 1928 in Somerset, KY, the son of the late Lowell and Arnetta Bullock. He is survived by Lucille H. Bullock, his wife of 61 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving two years.
He is also survived by his sister, Wilma Rau, daughters, Beverly (George) Walkup and Sherry (Jeff) Knowles, son, Martin (Cindy) Bullock, grandchildren; Hollie (James) Adkins, Donnie (Becky) Walkup, Jonathan (Stephanie) Walkup, Brian (Stacie) Knowles, Andrew (Jennifer) Knowles and Aaron Mitchell and 13 great grandchildren, Trisha, Ellie, Loreli, Madi, Bella, Sydney, Shay, Noah, Michael, Colton, Sam, Anjeletta and Donovan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Willard, Benford and Verl, sister, Willena Meece and granddaughter, Shawna Mitchell.
After the service, he went to work for Delco Moraine in Dayton, OH and retired after 30 years. He then pursued raising cattle, traveling and wood working; creating many pieces of beautiful furniture for his family.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday October 4, 2017 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Beavers Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 1:00 PM until time of service on Wednesday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
