Boys Golf:

More local high school golfers have advanced to district tournament play, following the Boys Division 3 Sectionals at Chillicothe Jaycees Golf Course and at Shawnee State Park Golf Course, Wednesday.

At Jaycees, individual players to advance included Hunter Henneberger of Huntington, Brady Duncan from Paint Valley along with both Jaylen Murta and Joel Richendollar of Southeastern.

Team qualifiers are Crooksville, Racine Southern, Reedsville Eastern, Waterford and Lynchburg Clay.

At Shawnee State Park, qualifying teams are North Adams, West Union, Dawson Bryant, Western Pike and Whiteoak.

Area individuals to advance include Joshua Haislop of Eastern Pike, Bostin Robinson of Peebles, Caleb Cline from Portsmouth Clay, along with Dylan Colvin and Logan Hayslip of Manchester.

Girls Tennis:

The Chillicothe Girls Tennis team defeated Washington Court House 3-2 giving Chillicothe a share of the Frontier Athletic Conference Championship. It was also the 300th career coaching victory for Janet Disbennett.

Westfall Adam Carter Invitational:  

Zane Trace won both varsity races, Cole Clever of Zane Trace was the boys champion and Emmitt Cunningham of Adena was second. Emma Lands of Logan Elm was the girls champion with Abbey Mohan of Zane Trace runner-up.
