Linda McCoy Goodwin, 71, of Wilmington, Ohio died Saturday, September 23, 2017 at her home. Her husband of 52 years, Glenn Goodwin, survives. They were married September 11, 1965. Mrs. Goodwin was born April 21, 1946 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of the late Earl and Thelma Bobbitt McCoy. She was a 1964 graduate of Wilmington High School.
Mrs. Goodwin taught pre-school at Wilmington Cooperative Nursery School for over 30 years. She was a member of the Wilmington United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Goodwin is survived by two daughters, Amy Brooker of Wilmington, Ohio and Robyn Goodwin of Wilmington, Ohio; a son, Ryan (Trischa) Goodwin of Oregonia, Ohio; two brothers, Kenny (Janet) McCoy of Blanchester, Ohio and Danny McCoy of Cincinnati, Ohio; four granddaughters, Cara Brooker of Clarksville, Ohio, Rachel Brooker of Clarksville, Ohio, Erin Brooker of Wilmington, Ohio, and Margo Brooker of Wilmington, Ohio; two grandsons, Luke Goodwin of Oregonia, Ohio and Owen Goodwin of Oregonia, Ohio; and three great-grandchildren, Sadie, Colten, and Haylie Nickell of Clarksville, Ohio.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
