BETTY LEE BONDURANT THOMAS, age 74, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Four Seasons of Washington CH.
She was born on April 14, 1943 in Sabina, Ohio to Chat Bondurant and Alice Gillenwater Polley. She was a graduate of Greenfield McClain High School. Betty worked for many years at the Shoe Factory in Greenfield. She was currently attending church at The Gathering Place and was also a former member of the Greenfield Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, watching old music videos on YouTube, and eating pizza from Pizza Hut.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Charles Thomas.
Survivors include her children, Jim (Dawn) Swayne, and John (Missy) Swayne; grandchildren, Kaleigh and Madison Swayne, and Tyler Cook; great-grandchildren, Zoei, and Jennifer; siblings, Larry Polley, Terry (Ann) Polley, Ronnie (Gloria) Polley, and Marilyn (Dick) Easter. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
