Beard love … A new study has found that women prefer the looks of men with beards. They even stick with that preference after being told how beards trap bacteria and parasites – and after being shown pictures of nasty stuff like insects burrowing into skin and open cuts. The results of the study led the researchers to conclude that women just can’t help themselves. They’re hard-wired though evolution to love beards. Why? Seems beards enhance a man's masculinity, and signal to women that they are more fertile and better equipped to survive. Yep, caveman stuff. (Daily Mail)
