The Washington Band Boosters would like to invite everyone to our Washington Blue Lion Marching Band’s Annual Homecoming Celebration Meal to be held this Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Gardner Park, 110 West Circle Avenue, in WCH just before the Washington High School Homecoming Activities and Blue Lion Varsity Football game against London.
We will be serving up everyone’s favorite again this year – our delicious, homemade smoked, pulled pork BBQ along with macaroni and cheese, baked beans, slaw, chips, dessert and drink for only $8.00. There will also be 1/3-pound angus beef hamburgers or cheeseburgers, 1/4-pound Johnsonville Bratwurst, Jumbo Angus all-beef hot dog alternatives available in place of pulled pork if you prefer. Kids meal includes a hot dog, side, chips, dessert and drink for only $4.00. Eat there or carry out is available at no extra charge.
The Washington Band Boosters would also like to thank all of our supporters over the past twelve months for your generosity and assistance with our fundraising endeavors. Over the past year, we have been able to assist in the purchase of snappy new marching band uniforms and an awesome new Pearl silver-sparkle drum line.
Come out Friday, Sept. 8th and join us for a delicious meal and stay for the homecoming festivities, varsity football game AND our excellent Blue Lion Marching Band as we roll out our new uniforms and drum line for all to see and enjoy! Gate admission is not required to participate in the Homecoming Meal; however, is required to enter the football game.
