The Ohio State Highway Patrol Post is investigating a one vehicle injury crash that occurred at 1:30am Thursday on I-71 north of US Route 68 in Clinton County's Liberty Township.
56-year-old Jay B. Tyner of Batavia, Ohio was driving northbound while operating a motorcycle, when he drove off the left side of the roadway into the grass median at which time the motorcycle overturned and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Tyner was not wearing a protective helmet. Tyner was transported to Miami Valley Hospital via care flight reference his injuries.
