Tony’s is a structural steel fabricator and erector who builds buildings all over central Ohio. They also provide parts and pieces for water towers all over the country. Welding and fabricating is done at the Washington Court House site, while another location in Canton handles the drawings and detailing. There are 20 employees between the two sites.
Penwell had a love for welding from a very young age. Starting out in his parents garage in 2003, he’d weld mower decks and farm equipment for local farmers. In 2008 he moved the operation to Robinson Road and business increased from there. He started fabricating parts for water towers and building large walkways and stairways for water towers, then started the structural steel portion of his business in 2012.
Tony’s has built over 100 buildings around Ohio, from restaurants, banks, schools, to the local ODOT facility in Fayette County and now the Miami Trace High School.
