The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce is still putting the finishing touches on their new building at 206 East Court Street and is inviting the public to take part.
The organization is selling personalized bricks that will be placed at the entryway of the building to replace the older tile and concrete that is there now. “The foundation of the chamber is this community, so what better than to have bricks at the entryway of our building that have a company logo or the name of a loved one,” said Chamber President Whitney Gentry.
Bricks are being sold for $100 each. A duplicate brick may be purchased for $40 to be kept as a keepsake. “We are really enjoying being part of the downtown area and think this will be a great addition to the area,” said Gentry.
