The Highland County Visitors Bureau is touting a few upcoming events. Destiny Bryson, of the HCVB, said there are a couple of opportunities to watch fireworks.
"We're going to have fireworks on Saturday, July 1, at Rocky Fork Lake," sayd Bryson, "and then Sunday, July 2, they'll go off at the Highland County Fairgrounds."
In addition, the annual Festival of the Bells returns to downtown Hillsboro, July 6-8.
"Our entertainers this year include Danny Gokey on Thursday, William Michael Morgan on Friday, and Brett Young on Saturday," said Bryson.
