Washington Court House firefighters were called to an E. Court Street apartment just after 11:30 p.m., Thursday. Investigators say light smoke was seen coming from the door of the second floor apartment, and the fire, which started in the kitchen, was extinguished.
Officials say no one was home at the time, and the cause of fire is undetermined.
