Dale Marvin “Butch” Russell, 79, of Williamsport, Ohio, died Friday, February 24, 2017, at 7 a.m. at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus where he had been a patient since February 19.Butch was born September 29, 1937, in Ross County, Ohio to Clarence and Martha Kerns Russell. He lived most of his life in the Williamsport community where he was a retired farmer.He was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Steven Wycuff in 2014, and by eight siblings.Butch is survived by three children, Tina Wycuff and her husband, Dennis, of Mount Sterling, Ohio, Pete Russell of Florida and Rita Bainter and her husband, Wade, of Chillicothe; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers, Gordon Russell of Chillicothe and Don Russell and his wife, Betty, of Kentucky; a sister, Barbara Helsel of Williamsport and numerous nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in New Holland.Cremation will follow the visitation and there will be no service.www.kirkpatrickfuneralhome.com
