A head-on crash Thursday morning claimed the life of an a New Vienna teen.
The Ohio State Patrol reports 18-year-old Timmi Mahanes was northbound on state route 68 outside of Wilmington in Union Township when his GMC pick-up swerved left of center and crashed head-on into a Volvo tractor-trailer heading southbound.
Mahanes was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the semi was not injured.
