The Hillsboro Finance Committee is considering a request for a free refill of water for the pool at the Hillsboro Swim Club.
The Committee met October 3rd and were provided a tour of club and also learned about improvements made at the club and the challenges faced by the local swim organization. The Board of Directors for the Swim Organization have requested a free refill of the pool to be included in the city budget for 2023.
Hillsboro Finance Committee Chair Mary Stanforth in a report on the meeting said that the Board’s request has not been acted on yet, and that the request will remain with the Committee. She says it will be revisited once the 2023 budget numbers are firmed up and members know where the city is financially.
