Washington CH’s Ron Weade has been re-appointed to another 4-year term on the Fayette County Fair Housing Board. Mr. Weade’s new term will expire on October 11th of 2024. The re-appointment was made during the January 19th meeting of the Fayette County Commissioners.
Phil Bartley of Washington CH was also re-appointed to a 5-year term on the Residential Building Board of Appeals. Mr. Bartley’s new term expires in September of 2025.
The Fayette County Engineer is also being given permission to purchase a new John Deere Wheel Loader. The 2021 John Deere 624P Wheel Loader will come at a cost of $179,312.
The department will trade in its current 2009 John Deer 624K loader with an allowance of $54-thousand. That’ll bring the total for the new loader to $125,312. The purchase will be made through Murphy Tractor and Equipment of Columbus.
