The foul line was a glaring difference for the Miami Trace Lady Panthers in their 57-48 win over McClain to clinch no worse than a share of the Frontier Athletic Conference title, Thursday.

The Lady Panthers were 21/24 at the charity stripe, which more than covered the 10 point margin of victory. McClain was 2/4 at the line. From the field, Miami Trace was 17/44 for 39%- including 2/6 from behind the arc. They also committed 15 turnovers. McClain was 19/51 from the floor for 37%- including 6/19 from the arc. The Lady Tigers had 11 turnovers.

Miami Trace was led by Shaylee McDonald's 14 points. Margarah Bloom had 11 and Hillary Jacobs 10. Delaney Eakins added 9, Libby Alshire 8, Gracey Ferguson 4 and Aubrey McCoy 1.

McClain was powered by Kyla Burchett's 16 points and 15 from Brianna Weller. Payton Pryor scored 9 and Josi Crabtree with 6.

The Lady Panthers improve to (8-1/16-5) and McClain falls to (7-2/14-6). Miami Trace plays for the outright FAC title at Washington CH, which can be heard as the second of our "Black and Blue" doubleheader, this Saturday night.
