The Washington Court House Shrine Club and Aladdin Shriners Hospital for Children awarded a grant to the Fayette County Memorial Hospital Foundation to help fund the purchase of a new, medical grade treadmill for the therapy department.
The hospital reports Foundation Director Whitney Gentry said “The treadmill helps bring more state-of-the-art equipment to the FCMH Therapy department that will be used for concussion protocol testing and rehabilitative therapy for student athletes in Fayette County.”
“The Aladdin Shriners and Washington Court House Shrine Club are very dedicated to helping children and the community. We appreciate their support and look forward to treating patients with the new equipment,” said Gentry.
Fayette County Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed, critical access hospital with over 30 health care providers and over 400 employees. FCMH offers a full spectrum of health care services including same day care, specialty clinic, surgery center, therapy services and women’s wellness center.
