(24/7 News) -- A blown tire is being blamed as a factor in a deadly crash in Clinton County.

The State Highway Patrol says a southbound semi-truck lost its tire yesterday on I-71, causing the rig to roll into the northbound lanes. The truck then hit another semi and car, head-on.

The car's driver, Karen Stutrud of Oregonia, and the second trucker, Timothy Brown Senior of Tennessee, were killed.
