As if we didn’t have enough to worry about, there is now supposedly a brain-eating zombie disease affecting the deer, elk and moose populations here in North America -- that scientists fear could cross over to humans.
Scientists believe hundred of animals have already died because of this disease and are worried about people who might eat the meat of infected animals -- and get infected themselves.
Symptoms of the disease include weight loss, clumsiness, excessive thirst and drooling. Animals often have bursts of aggression before collapsing and, eventually, dying. (Independent)
