Tis the season...Of gift Returns

According to the National Retail Foundation, two-thirds of shoppers make a return over the holiday season. If you want to avoid crowds and headaches when making those returns, experts say arrive at stores right at opening time – usually 10 a.m. Sunday mornings are the slowest time at stores – if you want to make it even easier. Today, December 26th, is one of the worst days for returning gifts – since lots of people rush out to make their returns immediately. New Year’s Day is a good day to make returns, though -- since most people lay low on New Year’s Day after being out on New Year’s Eve. (Reader’s Digest)
