Washington Court House City Manager Joe Denen reported to city council on the progress of the Washington Avenue project.
Denen says there has been utility work going on prior to actual road work, which is still on schedule to get underway in the spring of 2019.
Denen went on to explain that there is always the possibility of hidden problems arising.
In other matters, Denen talked about the City Service Department's recent toy drive for needy children. He says the community support really made the drive a success with Toys For Tots claiming it was the biggest success they have seen in the Washington Court House drive.
City council will meet next Wednesday December 19th at 7:30pm in council chambers, due to the 4th Wednesday being the day after Christmas.
