Please join us as the local Gospel Music group & worship team, “The Johnson’s”, minister in song & praise at Rose Ave. Community Center Friday, November 16, at 7:00 P.M. Featuring a Spirit-filled variety of Gospel music from Southern, Contemporary & Bluegrass as well as bringing their God-given talents to light through a diverse group of musical instruments, their greatest desire is to let their music, sermons, and testimonies be anointed, inspiring, and uplifting by leading people to Christ and seeing their lives changed! A family group from the local Bible Baptist Temple church, The Johnson’s brings powerful family harmonies and great live music to share the Good News of Christ Jesus! Members of the group are of four generations of the Johnson family: Stephanie Johnson and her children Andrew Johnson and Lauren King, joined by Jonathan King, Phyllis Jackson, Ron Sexton and Audrey Johnson. Originally formed in the 1980’s, the group has grown into the worship team it is today and they believe that God is to be the center of everything they do and that music is a very important aspect of their everyday worship of Christ!
Gospel Music Family Fridays is an outreach of Rose Ave Community Center & Church presented every Friday at 7:00 P.M., doors open at 6:30 P.M. Bringing different local, regional and national singers, musical groups and recording artists to the stage each week, all for the glory of God, we offer free admission, free food & drinks, and free shuttle service, in town. To help support this ministry, a free-will offering will be received. Rose Ave Community Center is located at 412 Rose Ave., in WCH. For transportation please call the office at 740-636-ROSE(7673) before 5:00 P.M. Fridays. Join us every Saturday at 5:00 P.M. for a free community meal & contemporary worship service in a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere. Featuring an upbeat & relevant, Bible-based message from Pastor Justin, doors open at 4:30 PM. Free transportation is also available for this event by calling the office before 3:00 P.M. Saturdays. Regular office hours are Monday-Friday 2:00-5:00 P.M.
