In the Netherlands, a guy went to court to officially change his age from 69 years old to 49 -- with the hopes of meeting more women on Tinder.
Emile Ratelband says that he identifies with being 49 instead of 69, arguing that you can change your name -- and even your gender. So why can’t you change your age?
It ends up being an even bigger legal deal because there is age discrimination, which could be fixed with a simple legal decision. Or so he suggests.
Keep an eye on this one because the court will come back with a ruling in the next few weeks. In the meantime, he’s still 69 and will just have to deal with it when looking for online love. (Insider)
