A Tornado Watch has been issued by the National Weather Service for Highland, Brown, Clinton, Greene, Montgomery, Preble, Clermont, Hamilton, Butler and Warren Counties until 9:00 p.m. Friday, July 20th.
A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for a funnel cloud to develop but without any certainty as to whether or not one will develop, or when and where one might develop.
Should a funnel cloud become imminent or likely, the Tornado Watch status would then be elevated to a Tornado Warning.
