Chillicothe scored 18 runs over the 4th, 5th and 6th innings for a 22-8 victory at Washington CH Wednesday.

The Cavs took advantage of five Lady Lions errors enroute to their third straight win. Chillicothe held scoreless in just the 7th inning, but did most of their damage in the 4th (4 runs), 5th (9 runs) and 6th (5 runs).

Hannah Ray and Bri Dawes collected four hits each while Olivia Ray drove in 6 runs.

Four Cavaliers had home runs, Haley Woodbridge, Chi Smitley and Hannah and Olivia Ray.

Maddie Ayres picked up the win.

Noel had 3 rbi's for the Lions while Helterbrand and Jude had two hits each.

Washington 7, Chillicothe 1

Washington CH slowly pulled away from Chillicothe on the baseball diamond for a 7-1 final.

The Blue Lions crossed the plate twice in the 2nd and 3rd innings for a 4-0 lead, then tacked on a single run in the 4th and two more in the 5th.
Chillicothe's lone run was in the 4th inning.

Nolan Taylor gave up just three earned runs while allowing seven hits.
Cassidy drove in two and Slone the other for Washington. Williams gets the win.

McClain 11, East Clinton 1:

Greenfield McClain earned an 11-1 win over East Clinton in 6-innings Wednesday.

McClain tagged Jerrett Huff for 4 runs with only one earned. The Tigers scored 7 runs in the 6th inning on 4 hits, 3 walks and a pass ball.

Both McClain and East Clinton will face Chillicothe the next two nights. The Tigers hosting the Cavaliers in a makeup game Thursday and The Astros will host the Cavs Friday night.


Washington 4, Chillicothe 1

Washington Court House took the tennis match with Chillicothe 4-1 Wednesday.

2nd Doubles: Gerrill Mallow/Carson Ferguson (W) defeated Emma Patino/Gabby Lapurga 6-7, 6-4, 6-4

Chillicothe is 1-2 overall and 1-1 in SCOL action. The Cavs will travel to East Clinton Thursday.

East Clinton 4, Miami Trace 1

The Astros won three contested matches and added another by forfeit in a home match with Miami Trace Wednesday.
