Chillicothe 22, East Clinton 3

Hannah Ray smacked two home runs and the Cavaliers erupted for a 14-run 3rd inning Friday in a 22-3 win over East Clinton.

Ray had an 8-rbi night on four hits. Chi Smitley also went yard for the Cavaliers in their fifth straight win.

Olivia Ray earned the win, surrendering just two runs over three innings.
The Cavs (5-1/4-0) held an 8-2 lead before the flood gates opened in the home half of the third inning.

Chilllicothe makes up a game at Unioto Saturday which had been postponed by weather on opening day.

East Clinton was to participate in the Lessburg Fairfield Lady Lion Classic Saturday, but it's been postponed. The Astros will travel to Washington CH Monday.

Miami Trace 13, Greenfield McClain 6
The Lady Panthers rolled out to a 6-0 lead after their first time at bat and
helped sophomore Ciera Strahler clinch her first ever varsity pitching win.

Freshman Tori Riley hit her 1st ever homer and had 3 RBIs in the contest.

Sarah Thompson took the loss for McClain (1-5 OVERALL/0-2 SCOL).

Washington CH 5, Hillsboro 1

The Lady Lions finally got a win for new coach Randy Elzey Friday night
defeating the Indians.

The Lions were helped by a 4 run 5th inning. Kate Jude picked up the win
giving up only 4 hits and had 7 strikeouts.

Hanna Breeden took the loss.

Clinton Massie 14, Waynesville 1

The Lady Falcons had 15 hits led by Carren Smith with a homer and 4 RBIs.

Emile Fisher and Caitlyn Robinson had 3 RBIs each.


Miami Trace 15, Greenfield McClain 4

Rob Smith's return to Fayette County baseball so far has been perfect. The
Panthers (6-0 overall/3-0 SCOL) jumped out to a 6-0 first inning lead Friday as the Panthers' Blade Moore picked up a complete game win.

John Phillips led a 14 hit attack for Miami Trace with 3 on his own including a double and 3 RBIs.

Washington CH 2, Hillsboro 1

The Blue Lions' Cole Romine threw a no hitter and knocked in both of the Blue Lions run in the top of the 6th inning Friday.

Romine walked 5 Indians batters though, hit a batter but struck out 5.

Hillsboro (0-3 overall/0-1 SCOL) Jacob Hilterbrand took the loss despite only
giving up 4 hits.

Somerset 9, Clinton Massie 7

The Falcons baseball team is in Florida during spring break and lost a tough
contest blowing an early 4-1 lead. They committed 4 errors and Somerset
came from behind for the win.

Hunter Fentress went 4 innings and took the loss.

Issac Stiverston and Ryan Collett had 2 RBIs each for the Falcons.


Dublin Coffman 5, Chillicothe 0

The Chillicothe Boys Tennis team lost to Dublin Coffman 5-0 in a Ohio Tennis

Coaches Association (OTCA) team Tournament match Friday.

2nd Singles: Rohit Joshi (DC)  defeated Frankie Whalen (C) 6-0, 6-0

1st Doubles: Brian Po/Ken Yoshino (DC) defeated Noah Wright-Piekarski (C)
6-1, 6-1
2nd Doubles: Robbie Markos/Matt Urwin (DC) Emma Patino/Gabby Lapurga (C) 6-3, 6-0

The Cavs' (2-3/2-1) next match is Tuesday in a home match with Clinton Massie at OUC.
