For only the 2nd time since the SCOL reformed there will be three teams from the SCOL in the high school post season football playoffs in the same year. In 2005, Miami Trace was in the Division 2 playoffs, Hillsboro in Division 3 & Clinton Massie in Division 4.

The Panthers enters the contest against an opponent that they haven't defeated since 2005 when they won 37-23 during the SCOL season. Since then they have loss 8 games in a row against Clinton-Massie including just 2 weeks ago at Massie by a 42-7 score.
Panthers will enter averaging 35.2 points per game while giving up 21.8 points a contest. Take out the Panthers three losses their defense average drops to 14.9 points a contest.
Trevor Haines leads the Panthers going over the 1000 yard rushing mark last week against Washington Court House & has rushed for 20 TDs.  Jimmy Stroker has rushed for 600 plus yards & rushed for 8 TDs & thrown for 8 TDs with the Pettiford brothers his top receivers with Cedric (5 TDs) & Marcel (2 TDS).   
Clinton Massie is making their 13th playoff appearance with this year being their 12th straight in the Division 4 &  defending their state title.
Bayle Wolf leads with 1053 yards rushing & 18 TDs in just 5 plus games. Wolf missed at least 2 games & the last few weeks (including against Miami Trace) has played defense only resting up for the playoffs. Brother Chayse has 1031 yards rushing & 13 TDs for the Falcons.
Hunter Fentress has thrown for over 900 yards & 7 TDs.
Defensively the team has picked off 7 opponent passes & recovered 11 opponents fumbles.
They are averaging 43.4 points per game & giving up only 6.8 points a contest. 
This is the 11th time in the playoffs in their 12 year streak they have open at home & are 8-2.
Winner of this contest will play the winner of Cincinnati McNicholas & Urbana at a neutral site November 15th.

Ron Hinton becomes the 4th head coach to lead the Cavaliers to the playoffs. He joins John Sines, Bill Dennis & Bill Davidson. In fact Davidson led the team to playoffs in 2006, 2008 & 2010.
Cavaliers are led by the running duo of Markel Cain (unofficially 1000 plus yards /15 TDs & Nate Rosenbauer 600 yards & 12 TDs). The team is scoring about 32 points a game & giving up only 8.5 points a contest including shutting out all four opponents that Cavs hosted this season.
Brookhaven was 1-2 at one point this season but enter with a 7 game winning streak. In the last 5 games the team has given up only a total of 20 points & has 2 shutouts, 2 games of giving up 7 points & a game giving up 6 points.
Overall Brookhaven is averaging 35.5 points a contest & giving up 12.9 points a contest.
Offensively the team offers an explosive running attack led by the trio of David Peoples (10 TDs), Macycah Fleming (5 Rushing TDs & 7 passing TDs) & Devante Lewis (8 TDs). Top receiver is Terry Barker who caught has caught 6 TDs.
