When Will Lainey Wilson Open Her Nashville Bar? Here's What We Know

Lainey Wilson is bringing a new bar to Downtown Nashville.

The “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” powerhouse confirmed on Tuesday morning (May 7) that the venue, Bell Bottoms Up, “will open later this summer in the heart of country music city! I can’t wait for all my Wild Horses to get to experience my home away from home.”

Wilson’s bar will take the spot where Florida Georgia Line’s now-closed FGL House used to be located, at 120 3rd Ave S. Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley confirmed in a statement that “FGL House has closed,” and it would “make way for a new unrelated venture.” The bar closed after nearly seven years. Hubbard and Kelley, who announced in February 2022 that they were “taking a break” as a duo to pursue solo projects, marked the FGL House grand opening in June 2017, according to a press release issued in May 2017.

Wilson joins a growing list of artists to open a bar amid the stretch of honky tonks on Nashville’s Lower Broadway and the intersecting streets. Blake SheltonLuke BryanJason AldeanDierks BentleyGarth BrooksMiranda LambertEric Church and others have opened venues in Music City over the years. Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen also have bars in the works. Earlier this year, HARDY appeared on iHeartCountry House Party and confirmed to Wayne D that he’s scoping out a location for a bar of his own.

Bell Bottoms Up will arrive months after Wilson teamed up with Golden, Colorado-based Barmen 1873 Bourbon to host a pop-up bar, dubbed the Hold My Bourbon Bar, for a few days last month. The temporary venue offered cocktails named with inspiration from some of the Bell Bottom Country hitmaker’s songs, including “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” and “Heart Like A Truck.”

The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year most recently released “Country’s Cool Again” and joined Keith Urban on “Go Home W U,” a song he said was never meant to be a duet. Wilson wrapped up global tour stops this month, and is gearing up for a lengthy list of headlining tour dates throughout the year. See the dates below.
